EcoSails by FVCE

The Classic Sailing Foundation of Spain unfurls the sails of innovation with 'EcoSails'. This project involves recycling boat sails to create customizable bags, toiletry bags and suitcases. Each piece tells a unique story, weaving the seafaring past into an exclusive, custom-made accessory.

Under this name, 'EcoSails' stands as the most ecological expression of the Classic Sailing Foundation of Spain, reducing waste and embracing the responsible use of resources.

The foundation not only invites purchase, but also contributions. Boat owners have the option of transforming their own sails into accessories, adding a personal and sentimental touch to each EcoSails product. In addition, the foundation seeks help from everyone, requesting donations of boat sails, where collection is done without shipping costs.

THE CREATIVE PROCESS

  • DESIGN

    The FVCE has formed a design team whose purpose revolves around the simplicity and usefulness of the aesthetically pleasing products. Durable designs that integrate harmoniously into the daily life of any lifestyle.

  • COURT

    ASTUS, Tutelary Association of Persons with Disabilities, dedicated to improving the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and/or cerebral palsy, as well as that of their families, is in charge of cutting the candles.

  • ELABORATION

    "El Costurerico" from Proyecto Abraham, an NGO committed to helping people at risk of social exclusion, deploys a meticulous effort in the artisanal preparation of each of the bags.

"EcoVela" presents its identity with this logo and highlights its emblematic phrase: "The second life of your boat's sails." This badge not only highlights the ecological nature of the brand, dedicated to the creation of recycled bags and suitcases, but also uses the characteristic colors of the Foundation, fused with shades of the blue economy.

Saying "EcoVela", that is, Fundación Vela Clásica de España presents a second logo in the image development process. This new design incorporates the iconic sailing ship, a distinctive symbol of the Foundation since 2021, which symbolizes a promising future. This logo reflects the Foundation's continued commitment to classic sailing and its vision towards broader, more sustainable horizons.
